I have always loved sports, and the medical field. I started off my college career in nursing, then switched to Athletic Training. While in Athletic Training, I fell in love with the material it was the perfect thing for me. During clinical rotations, I realized I love the field but would not love the job. I wanted to switch into something extremely similar. My advisors guided me towards the Exercise Physiology aspect of our Exercise Science program. It was perfect.
The material was extremely similar with slightly different concentrations. I loved helping all people, not just athletes, feel better, stronger, and live overall healthier lives. During my internship as an Exercise Physiologist I got first hand experience of all these different peoples lives who we were helping. The feeling was unmatched. Knowing that I can help people, and enjoy what I do, is such a great feeling. Through the years, I have had the pleasure of helping tons of our clients and hearing their stories about feeling better, stronger, and able to continue doing the things they love, never get old.

A couple of my hobbies include playing golf, pickleball, and softball with my friends. I am always down to toss a ball around, or play some cornhole. Through my whole life I have always played all different kinds of sports, and even at one point had a sub- 6 minute mile. My favorite sport has always been baseball, but I have love and appreciation for just about all of them.
I will watch most sports, and love going to sporting events. I enjoy traveling and camping, especially somewhere I can find a quiet lake with my fishing pole. When the opportunities arise, I enjoy kayaking as well. I also love reading about history, as well as listening to all types of music. I enjoy traveling to the city, whether it be New York, Boston, or D.C. My favorite place I ever visited though would be Barbados. I would love to travel more, specifically to Hawaii, Ireland, and even Japan.
